All BIOPLAST grades are compostable and certified according to EN 13432 and EN 14995 by Vinçotte, the leading European certification authority that grants the “OK compost” logo. This applies also to all components, inks and additives.

The “OK biobased” certification in compliance with the ASTM D6866 standard can be obtained from VINÇOTTE for biobased carbon content. One to a maximum of four stars are awarded to distinguish different categories of certification, depending on the percentage of biobased carbon content.
